The island map on our routes page is drawn from open data at build time and shipped as plain inline SVG — there is no map library, no tile request and no third-party script involved in rendering it.
Coastlines and province boundary
2023 PSGC administrative boundaries from the Philippine Statistics Authority and NAMRIA, packaged as GeoJSON by faeldon/philippines-json-maps.
Road corridors
Each drawn corridor is the shortest path over the real OpenStreetMap highway graph between its two endpoints, so the line follows the actual road.
