Anda
Anda sits on the eastern coast of Bohol, well beyond the day-trip belt, and it is the answer for travellers who want Bohol without the crowds. It is a genuinely long drive from Panglao or Tagbilaran, which is why people book a private vehicle for it rather than piecing together public transport.
Good to know
- Quinale Beach runs along the town proper — a long stretch of fine white sand facing east, so it is a sunrise beach rather than a sunset one.
- Anda sits on limestone, and spring-fed cave pools are scattered through the municipality. Cabagnow and Combento are the best known; smaller ones include Kaligoon, East Coast and Kalorenzo.
- The provincial tourism office lists the cave pools alongside the beaches as Anda’s two main draws.
- It is a quiet, low-rise town — the appeal is space and calm rather than nightlife.
