Getafe port to Anda
Sailing into Getafe and staying out on Bohol's east coast? This is the drive most arrival plans have no answer for. Getafe is the north-coast pier, Anda is most of the way round the island from it, and the road between them runs east along the north shore before turning down the circumferential road — not down through Tagbilaran at all. We meet the boat, size the vehicle for the group and the bags, and take you through to the resort you name.

How booking works
- 1Send your sailing date and arrival time in the quote form, along with the group size, the bags and the exact resort or barangay you are heading for on the east coast.
- 2We reply by email with the vehicle plan and one fixed, all-in price for the whole run.
- 3Your driver meets the boat at Getafe and takes you east and down the coast road to the address confirmed in your quote.
What to include in your request
- Name the resort, not just the town. The east coast is where this matters most: Anda, Guindulman and Candijay run into one another along the same coast road, and plenty of the places people stay sit in a barangay whose name does not obviously belong to any of them — Candabong, Ipo, Pasan. Put the resort in the destination field and we work the drive out from there rather than guessing a town centre.
- This is a different road from the Getafe–Panglao run, not a longer version of it. The two drives part company just south of the pier: the Panglao one cuts inland and south-west across the middle of the island, while this one turns east along the north coast through Talibon and Trinidad, then south down the circumferential road through San Miguel, Ubay, Alicia and Candijay into Guindulman and Anda. If you are weighing up which sailing to take, that is the drive you are weighing — not a run down to Tagbilaran.
- Getafe is a thin crossing, so the boat is the fixed point. The sailing schedule and what it means for planning are set out on the [Getafe port to Panglao page](/routes/getafe-port-to-panglao) and apply equally here: give us the sailing you actually hold rather than just the date, because a shifted boat on this crossing has few fallbacks and we would rather re-time the driver with you than have them waiting at the pier.
- If the east coast is your whole stay, this is the arrival worth asking about rather than defaulting to Tagbilaran. A Tagbilaran arrival is the shorter drive to Panglao and the countryside loop, but it is on the far side of the island from Anda — so for an east-coast stay the northern gate is not automatically the long way round. Tell us both options if your sailing is not booked and we will quote the one you ask for and say plainly how the other compares.
- Say how many bags you have and whether anything is bulky — dive gear in particular, since Anda is a dive coast. The whole run is with your luggage aboard, so the vehicle is sized for the bags as well as the seats.
- Arriving on the last sailing of the day? Tell us and we will be straight with you about it. A good part of this drive is done in the dark at that point, and if you would rather break the journey or be dropped somewhere nearer than Anda we will say so in the quote instead of on the day.
- Heading back out the same way, or flying home from Panglao? Ask for the onward leg in the same enquiry and we quote both together. A stay that lands at Getafe and leaves from the airport is two different drives and one quote.
Questions we get asked about this transfer
The things people check before they send a quote request. If yours is not here, put it in the message box and we will answer it with your price.
Is there another boat between Getafe and Anda?
No. Once you are ashore at Getafe the rest is a road journey: east along the north coast through Talibon and Trinidad, then south down the circumferential road through San Miguel, Ubay, Alicia and Candijay into Guindulman and Anda. There is no second crossing to catch or miss.
Is this the same drive as Getafe port to Panglao?
No, and it is worth knowing before you pick a sailing. The two routes split just south of the pier. The Panglao run cuts inland and south-west across the middle of Bohol towards Tagbilaran and the causeway bridges; this one turns east along the north coast and comes down the east side of the island. They are different roads through different towns, and we quote them separately.
Should I arrive at Getafe or Tagbilaran if I am staying in Anda?
It depends on your sailing, and it is a more open question than it is for a Panglao stay. Tagbilaran is the main gateway with far more crossings, but it sits on the south-west coast, so an Anda stay means a long drive either way. Tell us which sailings you are choosing between and we will quote the drive you ask for and tell you honestly how the other one compares, rather than steering you to a pier.
Can you take us to Guindulman or Candijay rather than Anda itself?
Yes. They are on the same coast road and the drive simply ends earlier. Name the resort or address in the quote form — that is what we price, not the town — because a run to a cove outside Guindulman and a run into Anda town are different journeys even though they share most of the road.
