What to include in your request
- Tubigon is a municipality on Bohol's north-west coast, so a Tubigon arrival puts you on the opposite side of the island from Panglao. The road runs south down the west coast through Calape, Loon, Maribojoc and Cortes into Tagbilaran City, then over the causeway bridges to Dauis and on to Panglao. It is a single road journey — there is no second boat to catch once you are ashore.
- This is a noticeably longer road leg than the Tagbilaran port arrival, which docks in the capital a short run from the same bridges. If your stay is on Panglao and you still have a choice of sailings, arriving at Tagbilaran is the simpler trip; Tubigon earns its place when it is the crossing that actually fits your day, or when you are travelling on a vehicle-carrying sailing.
- Give us the operator and the scheduled arrival time, not just the date. Sailings on this crossing are less frequent than the Cebu–Tagbilaran fast craft, so a missed or shifted boat has fewer fallbacks — we would rather build the pickup around your actual sailing and re-time it with you than have a driver waiting on a guess.
- Say how many bags you have and whether anything is bulky — dive gear, golf clubs, a surfboard, a wheelchair. The whole run is with your luggage aboard, so the vehicle has to be sized for the bags as well as the seats.
- Arriving late in the day? Tell us and we will be straight with you about it. The drive is done in the dark at that point, and if you would rather break the trip or be dropped somewhere closer than Alona we will say so in the quote instead of on the day.
- Coming back the same way? Ask for the return leg in the same enquiry and we quote both together, timed backwards from the sailing you need to catch rather than forwards from your check-out.

Is there another boat between Tubigon and Panglao?
No. Once you are ashore at Tubigon the rest is a road journey: south down the west coast through Calape, Loon, Maribojoc and Cortes into Tagbilaran City, then over the causeway bridges onto Dauis and Panglao. There is no second crossing to catch or miss.
Should I arrive at Tubigon or Tagbilaran if I am staying on Panglao?
Tagbilaran, if the sailing times give you a real choice. It docks in the capital a short run from the bridges onto Panglao, where Tubigon is up on the north-west coast and means a much longer road leg. Tubigon is the right call when it is the crossing that fits your day, or when you are travelling on a vehicle-carrying sailing — and we quote either arrival the same way.
What happens if our ferry is delayed or we miss the sailing?
Tell us as soon as you know. We build the pickup around the operator and sailing time you give us, and this crossing runs less often than the Cebu–Tagbilaran fast craft, so we would rather re-time the driver with you than have them waiting at the pier. That is also why we ask for the sailing and not just the date.
Can you take us somewhere other than Alona Beach on Panglao?
Yes. Name the resort or address in the quote form and the drive ends there. Panglao is a whole island rather than one strip, so a run to Alona and a run to a quieter part of the coast are different journeys and we price the one you actually want.
