What we quote

Four ways to travel Bohol with a driver

Every one is a private vehicle with a licensed local driver, quoted as one fixed all-in price before you decide. Pick the closest and the form opens ready for it — you can change it there.

  • Airport & pier pickups

Met on arrival at Bohol–Panglao International Airport or Tagbilaran City port and driven straight to your hotel. Send the flight or sailing and the pickup is planned around it, not around a guessed clock time.

    Arriving in Bohol

  • Point-to-point transfers

One private vehicle from where you are to where you are going — Panglao to Anda, a resort to the pier, a town to the highlands. Door to door, on a fixed all-in price, with no stops you did not ask for.

    All transfer routes

  • Private day tours

The countryside loop or a day of your own stops, with the vehicle and driver yours for the day. A day tour does not have to end where it started: it can run one-way and finish at your next base.

  • Multi-day itineraries

Several dated legs across one stay — the airport arrival, the ferry-port run, the cross-island hop, the departure — quoted together in a single reply rather than as four separate enquiries.

Before you enquire

Clear next steps before you hand over your trip details

BookBohol is a quote-first local transfer and day-tour service. Know what the driver standard actually is, and what happens once the quote request lands in our inbox.

What “vetted driver” means here

It is a real operating standard, not a vague label

Before the travel day, the job is matched to a licensed local driver and a clean, air-conditioned, insured vehicle that suits the group and the bags you told us about.

  • Airport, pier, hotel and multi-stop pickups are planned from the trip details you send, not improvised at the kerb.
  • Bulky items and child-seat requests are confirmed up front, so the wrong vehicle does not turn up.
  • You get a contact for the travel day, so there is always someone to reach if plans move.

What happens after you submit

The next steps are simple and quote-first

The form starts a quote conversation by email. There is nothing to pay to ask, and no account to create before you hear back.

  • You send the trip once: pickup, destination, date, group size and any stops.
  • We reply by email with a fixed, all-in quote before you decide.
  • If you go ahead, the ride and payment option are confirmed before the travel day.
The vehicles

Sized for your group, your bags and how you need to sit

Size the vehicle by whichever number is bigger — your headcount or your luggage pile. Then there is a third reason to size up that has nothing to do with space: if a low seat is hard work, say so in the form and we will quote the van instead of the sedan, however few of you there are. Either way the vehicle is confirmed with the quote, before you travel.

Silver Toyota Vios compact sedan, front viewSolo & couples

Toyota Vios

1-3 seats 2-3 bags

A compact, economical sedan — the sensible pick for a couple running from the airport down to Alona Beach without paying for van-sized space you will not use.

Getting in: Sedan height — you drop down into the seat and push back up out of it.

Best for: Solo travellers, couples and short Panglao or Tagbilaran transfers

Toyota HiAce Super Grandia premium passenger vanPremium comfort

Toyota HiAce Super Grandia

7-9 seats 6-8 bags

A premium captain-chair van with real legroom and a quieter ride — what you want for the long inland days, the Anda run and the full countryside loop.

Getting in: Van height — you step up and in, and sit upright in a captain chair.

Best for: Comfort-first trips, countryside tours and the longer east-coast drives

White Toyota HiAce Commuter passenger van, front three-quarter viewBig groups

Toyota HiAce Commuter

Up to 12 seats 10-12 bags

The workhorse of Bohol transfers — a roomy air-conditioned van that takes the whole group and a stack of luggage in one go, so nobody follows in a second car.

Getting in: Van height — you step up and in, to upright bench-row seating.

Best for: Families, friend groups and airport or pier runs carrying a lot of bags

Travelling in a group of more than twelve? You go in two vehicles that keep together, on one quote. We do not own vehicles — photos show the models we book and are representative, so your assigned vehicle may vary with availability.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

There are eight of us with luggage. What size vehicle do we get?

Size it by whichever number is bigger, your headcount or your luggage pile. We book a Toyota Vios sedan (1-3 seats, 2-3 bags) for solo travellers and couples, a Toyota HiAce Super Grandia (7-9 seats, 6-8 bags) for comfort on the longer inland and east-coast days, and a Toyota HiAce Commuter (up to 12 seats, 10-12 bags) for bigger groups and airport or pier runs carrying a lot of bags. Above twelve passengers you travel in two vehicles that keep together, on one quote. Tell us your passenger and bag counts in the form and the vehicle is confirmed with the price, before you travel. One thing the space rule cannot see: if anyone needs a higher seat or an easier step in, say so and we size to a van whatever the headcount.

I have a bad back and cannot manage a low car. Can I ask for a higher vehicle?

Yes, and it is worth asking rather than hoping. Sizing normally runs on headcount and luggage, so one traveller with one suitcase would otherwise be quoted the Toyota Vios — a sedan you drop down into. Both HiAce vans are the other shape: you step up and in, and sit upright. Put it in the notes box on the quote form (a higher seat, an easier step in, room to keep a leg straight) and we quote the van instead, however few of you are travelling. We own no vehicles, so the exact model is confirmed with your quote rather than promised here — and if the request is something more specific than ride height, such as a wheelchair-accessible vehicle with a ramp, tell us what you need and we will say plainly whether we can arrange it.

How much does a private transfer or day tour cost?

It depends on the route, the size of vehicle, how many of you are travelling, waiting time and any extra stops — which is exactly why we quote per trip rather than publish a price list. Tell us the details and we send back a fixed, all-in price before you decide.

Does the fixed price include entrance fees at the stops?

No, and it is worth knowing before you compare quotes. Entrance and viewpoint fees at the places themselves are collected on site by the operators who run them, and so is anything else you add to the day — a sanctuary, a church museum, a river cruise or a kayak. What our fixed, all-in price covers is the driving side of the trip: the vehicle, the driver and the agreed waiting time while you are off exploring. Tell us the stops you want and we will say which of them charge at the gate, so nothing on the day is a surprise.

Which parts of Bohol do you cover?

The whole island. Panglao and Alona, Balicasag day-trip pickups, Tagbilaran city, port and the Bohol–Panglao International Airport, the Chocolate Hills and Loboc in the interior, the Corella tarsier sanctuary, Baclayon, the Sagbayan Peak viewpoint, the Danao Adventure Park up in the highlands, and the eastern towns out to Anda. Multi-stop and multi-day itineraries are quoted the same way.

Can you meet my ferry at Tagbilaran port?

Yes. Tagbilaran is the main sea gateway to Bohol and pier pickups are one of the most common things we arrange. Send us your sailing and we plan the pickup around it — the same way we do for flights into Bohol–Panglao International Airport.

How and when do I pay?

There is nothing to pay to request a quote. Once you are happy with the price you can either pay online ahead of your trip or pay your driver on the day — we confirm which works best with you before you travel.

Can I cancel or change my booking?

Yes. Every confirmed quote comes with a clear free-cancellation window, so you can book ahead — even from overseas — with peace of mind. If your plans change, just reply to our email.

Are the drivers licensed and the vehicles insured?

We work with vetted, licensed local drivers using clean, air-conditioned, insured vehicles. You get a contact for the day of travel, so there is always someone to reach.

I am booking from another country for family — is that OK?

Absolutely, it is one of the most common things we help with. Arrange everything by email in advance and we will make sure your family is met and looked after on arrival.
